Summer Bishil is an American actor who is most well-known for her role as Margo Hanson in the Syfy the fantasy-based drama The Magicians (2015-present). Her role in the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her in the role of Jasira Maoun and was an Lebanese American teenager who is forced to face a range of personal issues in relation to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. In 2007, Variety declared her to be one of its 10 Actors-to-Watch. The role she played was another one of her most memorable characters Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 film crime drama Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female lead category.
